About this center
Welcome to Grandma’s House, a warm, loving, and family-centered home daycare in Rockland. As a mother of four grown, thriving adults and a proud grandmother, caring for children has been at the heart of my life for decades. I bring over 10 years of hands-on childcare experience, supported by a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Algonquin College.
At Grandma’s House, children are welcomed into a safe, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. I focus on creating a space that feels like a second home — filled with patience, kindness, structure, and lots of fun.
What I Offer
- A warm, family-like atmosphere where every child is treated with love and respect
- Age-appropriate learning through play, creativity, and hands-on activities
- Daily routines that support social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Healthy structure, gentle guidance, and positive discipline
- Safe, clean, and caring home environment
- Small group sizes to ensure personalized attention
- Outdoor play (weather permitting) and engaging indoor activities
My Approach
With formal training in child development, I understand what children need at each stage of growth. I incorporate educational activities that build strong foundations in communication, problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills, and early literacy — all while keeping each day fun and meaningful.
At Grandma’s House, children feel heard, valued, and supported, just like they would in a loving family home.
