The Ministry of Education and Child Care has approved funding to build a licensed child care facility to be incorporated into the new Carson Elementary School.
“We’re thrilled to support the creation of a new child care centre conveniently located at Carson Elementary School, providing more children with rich early learning experiences,” said Mitzi Dean, B.C.’s Minister of State for Child Care.
This new childcare facility will provide 61 new spaces in our community and will help address the high need. The centre will accommodate spaces for 12 children under 36 months of age, 25 children from 30 months to school age, and 24 school-aged children.
